The Karen silver is handcrafted one by one.

All the silver used in the necklace is Karen silver. It is not a chain, but a series of beads. The design is in two parts to create the image of a fluttering leaf. The necklace is made from a flexible cotton cord, while the connecting part is made from wire, to keep the leaf design alive. The beads are accented with a lotus logo stamp. The length is adjusted from 42cm to 45cm so that the leaf is positioned just right.

Using handcrafted Karen silver

The high purity silver is handcrafted by a small group of mountain tribes in Myanmar and northern Thailand. The purity of Karen silver is approximately 95-99.9%, compared to 92% for most silver jewellery. The muddy luster and refinement that only high-purity silver can give, and the warmth peculiar to handmade have a simple but strong presence, and the silver is popular in Europe and America.

What is Stampworks

Stampworks was invented by Navajo silversmiths around 1880. A stamp is made by engraving a pattern on the end of a sawhorse and then beating the sawhorse against a silver surface to create a variety of designs. The base of the stamp is made entirely by hand and is unique to each artist.
