A piece that recreates the austere look of old clothes
REMI RELIEF Based on a military shirt from the ’50s, this shirt is made from satin with an uneven texture. This shirt has been washed to give it a worn look.

The moderate thickness of the fabric makes it suitable for a wide range of seasons, depending on the combination with other items. The studs at the end of the collar accentuate the clean details of this piece.

The fabric is a military cotton back satin with a deliberately uneven weft. The fabric is a “military cotton back satin” with a deliberately uneven weft.
It has a characteristic post-wash look and unique sagging effect, recreating the look and feel of a vintage, modern item.

Dyeing is done with our own sulphide dyes, which were the mainstream at the time in the 60s.
The processing time is usually between 40 and 60 minutes, but because we use the principles of nature, we take a longer and slower time, 5 to 6 hours. Unlike modern dyes, the dyes are monochromatic and therefore fade to white.
How Old Clothes Naturally Fade
Amino acids are contained in the dyes in a colour fixing agent called a “fixer”. This begins to combine naturally with hydrogen in the air and is accelerated by body heat and UV heat. Over time, the colour fades by a mechanism of oxidation, hydrolysis, carbonisation (becoming charcoal), decay and fall.

We have taken this natural principle of old clothes and created an original cauldron in which hydrogen and amino acids are combined, accelerated, hydrolyzed and carbonised to fade the colours, creating the look of an authentic vintage item.

A wide range of authentic military
The length is short. The length is short and the silhouette is sleek and tight. If you prefer, you can always go up a size.

The buttons match the fabric and the chest pocket with authentic military detail is a tantalising feature.

The overall design is simple and cohesive, making this a great piece for a wide range of styles.
One-point brass studs at collar
Flower motif studs at the end of the collar. These are made of brass and have a vintage finish.
The individual shine and colour of the studs make them a perfect accent for the neck.
