Karen Silver

Karen Silver is a high purity silver that is handcrafted by a small group of mountain people in Myanmar and Northern Thailand. The purity of the silver is 95% to 99.9%, compared to 92% for most silver jewellery. The matt lustre and refinement of
high purity silver and the warmth unique to handmade silver give it a simple yet strong presence, making it a popular silver in Europe and America.

Waxed cord

Waxed cord is made from natural vegetable yarn that has been soaked in oil to make it tougher than normal. It’s also a great way to enhance the look and feel of the cord. It’s not sticky and can be worn in the shower, in the bath, in the pool or in the sea. The fabric is also water resistant and will not fade or bleed when exposed to sweat or rain, making it an ideal material for surfers’ accessories.

The 3mm Karen Silver Beads are braided in one, three and evenly spaced. Each Karen Silver bead is delicately crafted. The
accent is a beautiful concho with a fine pattern. The conchos are hooked and fastened for ease of attachment. It’s also a good detail that makes it difficult to remove.

They can be worn alone or stacked to create a balanced look.
