A hang knitting machine is a knitting method in which the fabric is literally suspended and knitted by the weight of the suspended fabric. Barns’ suspension knitting machines have been in use since ancient times and can knit only one meter of fabric per hour.

Barns uses an uneven yarn that has more fluff than ordinary yarns made from American cotton, giving it a dry texture. By knitting slowly and without tension while allowing air to enter the fabric, a thick, fluffy feel is created for outstanding comfort.
